Creativity is a valuable component of technological and artistic breakthroughs and the basis for successfully solving many of the world’s difficult problems (Rinberg, Dow & Plucker, 2010) and an important prerequisite for innovation (Wach, Stephan and Wegge, 2018), especially when necessary conditions are met - cultural and environmental factors (Sarooghi, Libaers, & Burkemper, 2015).

The aim of this master's thesis was to clarify the needs / expectations of the students of the
ceramics department of the Estonian Academy of Arts and the suitability of the current study rooms and study environment to support their creative process.
